GA 30

State Route 30 (SR 30) is a state highway that runs west-to-east through portions of Marion, Sumter, Crisp, Wilcox, Dodge, Telfair, Wheeler, Montgomery, Toombs, Tattnall, Evans, Bryan, Effingham, and Chatham counties in south-central Georgia. The route runs from its western terminus at SR 41 in Marion County south of Buena Vista to its eastern terminus at SR 25 in Port Wentworth. The route is concurrent with US 280 for a majority of its length.

The route initially runs southeast from its western terminus in Marion County in the direction of Americus in Sumter County, where it meets and begins its concurrence with US 280. SR 30 continues southeast to Leslie, where it turns east and heads into Cordele in Crisp County after it crosses over Lake Blackshear. The route crosses I-75 right after leaving Cordele, and heads in the direction of Rochelle in Wilcox County.

After running through Rochelle and Abbeville, the route continues east through the southern corner of Dodge County and through Rhine, where it turns northeast, and runs into McRae in Telfair County. Continuing northeast through Wheeler and Montgomery counties, SR 30 heads into Vidalia in Toombs County. The route heads east through Lyons, then turns southeast and heads into Reidsville in Tattnall County, where it turns northeast again and heads in the direction of Claxton in Evans County.

Turning slightly southeast once more in Claxton, SR 30 heads for Pembroke in Bryan County, before turning northeast yet again and crossing I-16 southwest of Blitchton. SR 30 ends its concurrence with US 280 at its intersection with US 80 and SR 26 in Blitchton, makes a zig-zag shape cut southeast, north, and east, and continues to its eastern terminus in Port Wentworth shortly after crossing I-95.
