  As part of the Winston-Salem Northern Beltway construction, Meredith Drive will be permanently closed beginning Tuesday, June 20, 2023.  This closure will eliminate the access to Meredith Way from Oak Grove Church Road.  To access Meredith Way, motorists will take Oak Garden Drive to Embark Drive to Meredith Way.
  As part of the Winston-Salem Northern Beltway construction, Meredith Drive will be permanently closed beginning Tuesday, June 20, 2023.  This closure will eliminate the access to Meredith Way from Oak Grove Church Road.  To access Meredith Way, motorists will take Oak Garden Drive to Embark Drive to Meredith Way.

This closure and new traffic pattern are required in order to relocate Oak Grove Church Road (the portion south of Orvil Lane) to the east and make room for the proposed beltway construction through this area.

The closure is required in order to construct the detour needed for the future Kernersville Road bridge construction, which will eliminate the intersection of Kernersville Road/Old Winston Road/Oak Garden Church Road.  Preparation work will take place over the next six weeks and construction of the detour is scheduled for April.
