  Drivers should expect lane closures for the next three months on NC-150 (Cherryville Highway) from Lakewood Drive and continuing South toward Shelby. These closures are for road widening and for the construction of roundabouts for the US-74 Shelby Bypass project. Additionally, a new roadway alignment for NC-180 will be implemented during this phase. There will be a separate announcement before that traffic switch occurs. Lane closures will not be used between 7am and 9am or between 4pm and 6pm. Drivers should stay alert and be aware of potential traffic pattern changes in the area.
