A4169 Road

From: Shifnal
To: Much Wenlock, Note: The section immediately south of Shifnal was turnpiked in 1763 as one of a number of roads from Stafford and Newport, but leaves this turning sharply westwards, along a road formerly part of the Madeley turnpikes. It ends when reaches the present A442 road, but resumes a short distance further north, becoming a southern bypass for Telford. It then crosses Buildwas Bridge and runs to Much Wenlock.
